Former boxcar on former New Haven Line in Lowell, MA By looking from this angle, you see an old flatbed car, however, a closer look would reveal that this was at one time a boxcar. The wooden floor is burned to a crisp, and the metal shell painted blue with the B&M logo is rusting away behind the car. I don't know if this was vandalisim, or just a non enviormentaly friendly way of disposing of the old car. Photographed by Rob Butler, February, 2000. Added to the photo archive by Rob Butler, June 12, 2000. Railroad: New Haven. Rob Butler's awards: | |
