Another Lost Symbol

To remember a symbol that ran like clockwork on Guilford is a rarity. However, Saratoga jobs EDSR and SRED used to be pretty reliable, having eastbound SRED out of Hoosac Tunnel during mid morning. Late in June 2001, East Portal's frame was being bathed in its Summer-only sun rays as a headlight could be seen deep in its throat.
Soon, out popped the day's SRED with GP35 207 gasping for light and oxygen while sprinting for River Road crossing.

Photographed by Jeff Bray, June, 2001.
Added to the photo archive by Jeff Bray, October 25, 2006.
Railroad: Guilford (B&M).
