Just west of Amtrak's Conn River bridge on the Suffield,CT side, a soon-to-be hot day in late May 2005 would be interrupted by midday action on the New Haven-Springfield line. Connecticut Southern's CSO-1 from Cedar Hill was heavy with construction debris loads as four units and their train approached at restricted speed on the way back to West Springfield, MA.
