RIP - Champlain Flyer

In Burlington downtown, the rail trail crosses the tracks and runs along the Union Station platform, then crosses again and parallels the line past the Vermont Railway HQ and roundhouse, over a bridge adjacent to the former Burlington Barge Canal, and heads to Oakledge Park. Basically this is a "RAIL WITH TRAIL" setup, and a fence seperates the railroad from the trail.

Sneaking a pic through the fence, I shot some of the ex-VRE coaches that were used on the now defunct Champlain Flyer commuter train. 5 of these cars sit just south of the Burlington Yard of the Vermont Railway.
