After watching Pan Am train RJ-1 drop a car for the Batten Kill, we headed over to Walloomsac to chase the train up to North Bennington to Meet VTR. How ever thats not how it happened. Pan Am stayed at the Junction and the VTR units came down from North Bennington with a single hopper, then picked up their cars from RJ-1. Here we see the VTR train back from the junction, headed by the 50th anniversary unit going right through North Bennington to points north. Not sure why there was a pair of other VTR units (#310 and #307) parked near Whitmans, but it made a nice set up for a mock Vermont Railway meet!
