Eastbound over the Hudson River Bridge into the Town of Schaghticoke (NY), RJED will have "clear sailing" until they reach the trackwork block at Hoosick Junction. Slow speeds today for the 607 - (NS) 3849 - 614 with a long heavy train fighting the grade out of the valley on a hot and humid day. At least they were able to "cruise through" the impending track block west of Mechanicville -- the grain train wasn't so lucky.
