Heading eastbound over the Hudson River Bridge in Mechanicville NY, the AAPRCO Passenger Special "The Pine Tree Limited" is on the first leg of Pan Am Southern rails late on Saturday afternoon. The distinctive three Amtrak locos are followed by 26 "varnish" passenger cars destined for the 37th annual convention private car gathering in Portland Maine. The GE dredging "shuttle boat" adds a nice perspective as it heads into the dock to transfer personnel.
