VTR B&R action -- Wednesday January 21, 2015

In a seldom seen lash-up of four red VTR units, the B&R power has just dropped a car for Whitman's Feed Mill in North Bennington Vt. The "four-banger" will drift back to the mainline and await an expected PanAm Southern connection by AD-1 (379 and 312) with 54 inbound cars. The arriving two engine PAS set will have the crew undoubtedly scratching their heads as there are now 103 cars plugging the yard to move outbound onto PAS rails. In the picture (to the right) one can see the new power shoveled ditch, the result of what appears to be a temporary fix for the failed disastrous (and expensive) Vermont DOT drainage and grading project completed a short while ago.
