A quartet of locomotives (VTR GP40-2 308, GMTX GP38 2208, VTR GP38-3 207, and VTR GP40-2LW 310) pull 20 cars southbound from Burlington to Rutland as they cross VT Route 3 in Center Rutland just before entering the Rutland yard on one of the most beautiful days that Vermont has seen in a while (due to wet, dreary weather). Amazingly enough, even though 20 cars seems like a light load, I heard the four units moving on Notch-8 just north of this crossing.
