L066 MEC 515s Past Garvin Falls in Bow

MEC 515, has been a mainstay of "These NH Rails" since it was first sighted as part of the power lineup that led the July 2014 NH National Guard Military Train south out of Concord. At that point in 2014, 515 was rebuilt in Waterville, repainted, sold to GATX, then leased back to Pan Am. 518, and 519 went through the same program prior to 515.

While 515 has been through these parts many, many times over since 2014, seeing a south facing 515 has not been a common occurrence. Usually the locos tend to face north. Here's a unique peek of the south side of the Garvin Falls Hydro Electric Power Station in Bow.

Here was the L066 Crew heading south with two empty Coastal cars to tie down at River Road in Bow. Inbound loads seem rather lean this winter, even with reliable twice a week service to Concord that CSX provides

MEC 515 was originally built in April 1976 for CN as their 9656.
