The Highlight in Sunday Extra 646 WestThe Sunday extras I have seen usually consist of an ACS-64, a few other locomotives, usually P42's,and the obligatory coach to make it a train allowed to operate at train speeds. On Sunday, July 14, when it stopped briefly at Kingston, that consist included ACS-64 646, the coach, P42DC 46 in its 'Connecting America for50 Years' paint, and P42DC 97, and that was it. I do not know whether the diesels were heading to New Haven for sericing or to be used in service or both
I just know they could not have picked a better Sunday to stop and pose this diesel for us at Kingston Station
