Power Swap

Freights NESE and SENE make a power swap at Western Ave in Lowell MA. A typical Conrail power set for back then was on the train, four C30-7A's. However Guilford came down with a classic lashup of GP40 #330, U23B #288 and GP9 #51. The best part was the 51 lead SENE back to Portland. It was extremely rare to see GP9's leading mainline freights in 1998 on district 2.
