Wayne E. Davis, Chairman of TrainRiders Northeast. Wayne started the grassroots effort to bring back passenger rail service to Northern New England. His tireless efforts began in 1989 and came to fruition on December 14th, 2001. That was the day of the inaugural run of the Downeaster from Boston to Portland.
