This newspaper photo captured B&M 1714 as one of the last trains in Keene, NH on May 15, 1984. As the caption reads, "Boston & Maine train crosses Main Street in Keene in a surprise visit Tuesday, dropping off cars for loading tracks removed from rail yard". RIP (May 1848 - May 1984)
