For a brief period of time in the late 70's Providence and Worcester RR ran to Willimantic and serviced the Kendall plant at the east end of track by the North Windham line. This shot was taken as the local had just crossed the Ash St crossing and is about to cross the Natchaug River trestle, heading east.
