BAR chip car ready for scrap. As the old 40' converted box cars are wearing out, they are being replaced by the new "Derby Jumbos". This car is a newer series chip car without a cleanout door. Ice bunkers were also converted for chip service. Photographed by Brad Libby, October 14, 1997.
