Photo of D&H Colonie shop fire
D&H Colonie shop fire

The north end of Building 1 in the D&H's former Colonie shop building. Probably around 2:45 PM and the roof on the north end of the building is almost completly engulfed in flames. The vertical flames are one of the window assembly that must have been hit with part of the collapsing roof (once it burned out the fire stayed in the roof area as far as I could see). When I left, the walls of the roof had all fallen off due to the high winds and were burning at the base of the building. The fire started at around noon and continued well into Monday where they have begun to knock the unstable walls down.
