CDOT GP40-2PHM # 6695 about to leave new london, ct. this locomotive on (or around) 06/16/04 at about 4 am struck a highway construction crane, killing the crane's operator. the nose of the locomotive was bashed in alittle. neither the engineer nor the condutor (the only 2 people riding the train) were hurt. this Picture was taken a couple months before it struck the crane.
