Clark's Trading Post's aka White Mountain Central Railroad DaysWhite Mountain #5 brings the log train into the station to clear the siding for the Reo Railbus rides. Here it passes abeam the cab of #1943 showing the heavy load of logs. This is the locomotive that sat at the entrance to Loon Mountain for over thirty plus years and was an attraction and "must climb on" for all young and old railfans. Special thanks to the Clark Family for restoring and saving this former Baldwin Saddle Tank Engine that faithfully served the J. Henry Company during the logging period in the White Mountains.
