Crowleys Junction in 2004

Well this is close to Crowleys. I was looking at Bernard Cole's Lewiston Lower pictures posted in the last day or so which got me to thinking about Crowleys. I ran the south end of this branch in a speeder this summer between Lisbon & Brunswick. After the ryde we rode up Rt196 towards Lewiston and tried to find Crowleys Jct. We found the Rt196 crossing. This shot is looking North towards Lewiston. The silver pole at the right & the white/silver box laying on it's side are the remains of the crossing signal.
Pictures of the speeder run are in this Archive. Search under Lewiston & MEC. /DL
