This is a picture of Voilet Dube and her mother in law of Rollinsford ,New Hampshire ,watching as her husband left for base duty in late August of 1947.In the backgrouund is Boston & Maine ,Portland to Boston ,passenger train ,southbound,and the Salmonfalls/Rollingsford ,NH station. This is facing north with the State of Maine border only 1000 feet up the tracks.Thought I might share this very rare photo .Picture was taken by August Dube of Somersworth ,NH
