A day in New London Ct 2001

Among other things at the station besides trains and buses is the Cross Sound Ferry operations.
Ferry on right is MV John H.
Ferry on left is Cape Henlopen.
The Henlopen is an ex LCT (Landing Craft Tank) She crossed the Atlantic and took place in the Normandie invasion on D Day. And was struck by a German Torpedo and survived.
