Location sign at Harding's in East Brunswick

This is the location sign at Harding's in East Brunswick, put up by the Maine DOT when the state-owned Rockland Branch was recently rebuilt. The mileage represents the distance from Rigby Yard. The name comes from the adjacent Bath Iron Works' Hardings facility, which fabricates steel parts for shipbuilding. There is a passing siding here as well as the spur that goes into the facility. Plate steel is shipped here on regular and bulkhead flatcars.
