Maine Central?? #357 with Steam Shovel

This comes from a very poor Photo Post Card. The picture is just visible on the origional document. There is a '35' clearly visible by the guys' elbow on the front of the smoke box and a very faint '57' under the cab window. My MEC paper back book of steam locomotives sez #357 was a 4-6-0 ALCO built in 1905. The Steam Shovel has 'MCRR5' on it's side. I'm always leary of anything MCRR as it could be Michigan Central. Anyone have any thougths on the Shovel #5. Did MEC have one? /DL
