Fall 2006 Track Weekend - October 9th

Locomotive #10 and coach #3 deliver lunch to a hungry crew at the northern rail head on Monday. By the end of the weekend, 89+ volunteers had laid over 1,000 feet of new track and built a new grade crossing. The rail head is now nearly 1/2 mile north of Alna Center station. Meanwhile back in Sheepscot, significant progress was made in rebuilding Maine Narrow Gauge open excursion car #103 in prepration for Halloween service in two weeks. It was a great weekend!
