View northbound in the area of the "Top of the Mountain" switch

This view is looking northbound, in the area around the switch for the Top of the Mountain siding. A curved rail from the side track is barely visible just beyond the small pile of logs in the right foreground. The side track more or less paralleled the main track. There is some question how far north it extended. If it extended beyond where the main first drops into the cut, then the side track would have jogged right at that point.
