Westerly Bridges

Amtraks northeast corridor rails visible beneath the open deck of the West Street bridge. This bridge has been closed to traffic for a few years and rumors are it will be rehabed. Notice the different sizes in deck beams. Years ago this bridge carried trolley traffic and cars across the NYNH&H main line. I believe the trolley was the Westerly to Norwich Line. This bridge is clearly visible in recent photos posted showing all the MOW activity in the Westerly yard.
