Providence and Worcester at Plainfield, Connecticut - now

Major changes for the Providence and Worcester’s Plainfield diamond. The diamond area has been reconfigured with the diamond being removed on 25 October 2007. A new switch enables direct access to the Willimantic branch without necessitating a backup move onto the old Midland Division track that runs past the Plainfield engine house and maintenance base.

Photographed by Ron Chouinard, October 26, 2007.
