Pan Am Railways EDMO pumps up its air and prepares to leave North Adams, MA after making a pickup at 5:28 pm on 05/10/2008. Unfortunately, it will be almost 7:30 pm before EDMO heads out of town, since it will have to wait for MOAY. Considering EDMO left East Deerfield at 12:30 pm, that works out to 7 hours to cover 35 miles, for an average speed of 5 mph! The old saying “I could have walked faster” certainly comes to mind!
