A very rare EMD BL-2 locomotive chugs past the Amtrak station at Saratoga Springs, NY with the Saratoga & North Creek Railway's Polar Express train on Friday evening, November 18, 2011. This was the first run of the train. There was a huge attendance of patrons and the parking lot was jam-packed. I am told that this BL-2 is of Bangor & Aroostook heritage; The S&NC has two of them on their roster. They are painted in a D&H inspired paint scheme.
