Late in the day on New Year's Eve the Batten Kill's 605 switches in Eagle Bridge NY prior to heading north with four loads for the feed mill in Greenwich Junction. Even though this round trip will prove to be finished well after sunset on this "festive" holiday, it may likely prove far better than contending with the nor'easter starting on New Year's Day with 14" of snow expected.
