The Plymouth and Lincoln's ALCO S3 working the Winnipesaukee Scenic trains which run from Meredith and Weirs Beach to Lakeport (Laconia) and back. The 1186 is a former B & M engine.

1186 was originally an S-3 (660hp naturally aspirated, AAR trucks) when I ran it in 1987 but by the time this photo had been taken, 1186 had reverted to an S-1 (Blount trucks) like the rest of Hobo RR stable
