This locomotive looks like the one that used to work on the Beebe River Railroad for Draper Corporation. That locomotive was a 25ton gasoline Plymouth and was kept basically because it was heavy enough to work the snowplow. When Draper purchased the mill and timberland up to Guinea Pond, the 25 ton gasoline Plymouth would take a couple of wooden log bunks to bring back old growth hardwood which had been left. Legend has it that Tobey Lumber Company was involved in this effort until around 1942 when the last of the main line into the woods was salvaged in WWII for scrap.
