The tiny hamlet of Shushan NY has an extremely rare visitor today -- PanAm (MEC) 601 heading an outbound spine train ultimately heading for Eagle Bridge NY. The one and a quarter mile train of previously long-term stored cars is capturing the interest of two very young potential railfans and their "navigator." The garbage container spine cars will be forwarded to Mohawk by PAS and from there on to Binghamton and further south by NS.
