The Black Pony, An Endangered Species in NH ?

This is the quartet of power that brought in the latest, and perhaps the last loaded coal train bound for Bow for a long while. This is NHB-06 for those with a scorecard. A uniqueness of this lineup, is that three out of the four engines are in the SD60 family. NHB-06 arrived later Saturday night in Bow after a big line of severe thunderstorms rumbled through central and southern NH. It appears that the ECT departed Bow earlier this morning.

The Norfolk Southern lineup includes.. 6958s (SD60E), 8453s (C40-8W), 6787s (SD60M), 6799n (SD60M),
