New East Track in Andover approaches Ballardvale Station

Slowly the Keolis crew has not only set this track in place from VALE west but extensive aligning, ballasting, tamping is involved in making this a high speed mainline track.

Only question is they need a switch to go around the Ballardvale Station or rip up the present B&M temporary asphalt platform extension that was added when they removed the east track back in the 60's

Shot from the handicap platform which has a wooden extension on it to extend out to the present west track which must be removed (Only the wooden extension I am standing on ) The cement platform is out of site on the right. Also to be removed is the signal shanty as shown.
