Pan Am Southern train 23K, led by UP 4488 (SD70M) crawls slowly west along track 2 as it approaches a meet with train 28N sitting waiting with a crew in the cab on track 1. I returned to Wachusett as 23K slowy passed, figuring 28N would leave Gardner when 23K cleared. 28N did not follow me; don't know whether he still had to make his Gardner set out or not.
