Photo of The Cure for the Mid-Winter
The Cure for the Mid-Winter "Blues"..

This NA-1 local, started out about a mile south of here, as the train was left at the River Road crossing in Bow. First duties, switching out cars for Coastal Forest Products. Usually one locomotive is the normal sighting on the local runs, though it nice to catch not only two engines, but a matched set of GP40-2L(w) "Canadian Comfort Cabs" in clean Pan Am blue paint.

This was taken off of the River Road Bridge in Bow, and the Bow Coal Plant would be to the left of this picture.

Pan Am power includes both the 507n (a frequent flyer on "These New Hampshire Rails", and the 504s.
