Snowplow Train At Shelburne Falls

A Pan Am Southern snowplow train is seen clearing the track at Shelburne Falls, Mass. on Feb. 15, 2017. The train cleared the line between East Deerfield and North Adams, MA and return. The previous day, the 14th, the plow train cleared the line east of East Deerfield. From the various photos I saw, it appeared there was more snow along the track east of East Deerfield.

Most railfans have no idea that it is the Maintenance of Way (MOW) people who man the plow, operate the wings and flanger and use an air whistle to blow for each crossing.
