FA at Southport

One of the New Haven's last four Alco cab units, FA1 0418, teams up with a GP9 to haul train HN-2 (Oak Point-Cedar Hill) through Southport, CT, on the NH's next-to-last day before the Penn Central takeover. Trains NH-1 and HN-2 were known to crews as "The Drop" because they handled local work on the New Haven-New York run.
