The area around the CSX West Springfield yard at one time boasted a myriad of industrial sidings. One of the last remaining inactive sidings reached the Sullivan Paper complex, and was removed entirely by 2013. A second track curved off to the right of the photo to another portion of the plant, and is today buried under pavement. A 1971 historic aerial shows two boxcars spotted on that track.
