Photo of Amtrak 694 at Wilmington Junction
Amtrak 694 at Wilmington Junction

I don\'t often take photos of Amtrak, but figured I would try today CPW-WJ (Wilmington Junction). Since the Wildcat and NH Route were shut down due to PTC work, Amtrak was detoured down the Western Route this weekend. Here, Amtrak 694 splits the Eastbound signals at CPW-WJ as they head Westbound for Boston with Tom Peters as the helm. Eventually, the current section of the Wildcat Branch to the left will become a small MOW siding.
