Maintenance Convoy from Maine at Wagon Wheel

As NS power doubles up empty racks at Sanvel for 287, an unusual convoy of hi-rail and MoW equipment has journeyed a few hundred miles down from Maine (Irving?) and is heading west on main one, destination unknown (although it was heard to have permission to CPF-346 after turning the equipment at Hill Yard on the wyes). Rumor has it that PAR MoW crews are fully subscribed as winter nears so management has enlisted a contractor to do some track work - perhaps around Gardner where three gons of ties are being unloaded on the house track. And maybe when the convoy returns north, it will apply a little TLC to the Stony Brook (CWR east of 312 is not yet installed), especially track 2!
