Blue Diesels Meeting at Ayer, MA

MBTA 1056, the Mass DOT's blue F40PH-2C pushes MBTA train 416 east out of Ayer and past 2 blue Pan Am units: MEC 3403 and MEC 3401 (SD40-2's). The Pan Am units were the power for EDPO, which was picking up empty water containers and some mixed freight off 2 different tracks in the Hill Yard. The T train was running about 10 minutes late after waiting at North Leominster for a shuttle bus from the Fitchburg MBTA station, necessitated by track work on track 1 in Fitchburg during the days this week.
