NX-13 Crawling Along the Housatonic River

With only 4,000 horsepower versus the 5,000 horsepower this train typically has, the climb along the Housatonic River between Housatonic and Glendale, Massachusetts was a slow one for NX-13, nearing the top of the grade, the train's ex-Bangor & Aroostook leader starts to throttle down as it blasts it's horn for the upcoming Glendale Middle Road crossing. Shortly the 22-car train will crest the grade and the remainder of the trip to Pittsfield will be faster and easier for both the crew and the veteran GP7u.
