The Mt. Washington Cog Railway has bee entirely built in New Hampshire. Original vertical boilered engines were built in Tilton, rebuilt with horizontal boilers by Manchester. Cars built by Laconia. Balance of new construction built right in the Marshfield Shops including steam, diesel and the aluminum passenger cars
