Hartford Budd

A solo Amtrak RDC running as a Springfield-New Haven shuttle on a summer afternoon has just departed the Hartford station as it runs alongside the greenery of Bushnell Park. The Hancock air whistle marks this as a former New Haven car. The track at left is the branch to New Britain that is now a busway.

Photographed by Tom Nelligan, July, 1977.
