former Meriden station

A pair of Amtrak RDCs running as a New Haven-Springfield shuttle roll to a stop at Meriden, CT, on a summer afternoon. This modern station, built in 1970 as part of a downtown redevelopment project, was replaced in 2017 by a new facility intended to accommodate the forthcoming CT Rail commuter service.
