Bay Colony GP8 naps at Medfield

While waiting for CSX to drop the next inbound loads of Dragon Cement from Thomaston, ME at Medfield Jct, ex-Detroit & Toledo Shoreline Geep naps in the spring sun. 1701 looks a bit worse for wear and could use much TLC. But apparently it still suffices for hauling loaded covered hoppers the 2 miles to Tresca Brothers' transload site at Island Rd in Millis. At 65 years old, 1701 is eligible for Medicare.
