Power Off Westbound Heading for East Deerfield Servicing Area

MEC 5967 (far unit) and MEC 5953 (B40-8's) brought a westbound into East Deerfield yard, cut off their train on a yard track, and proceeded west to clear the engine house switch before reversing into the engine facility for servicing. I never heard a job named for this pair on engines, but they were on their way west toward the yard over 45 minutes before arriving. ED-9 ? Would another 'ED' job come in like that from the east?
